Baby Blessing Info

Hey Ya'll!

So the baby blessing for Levi is on Sunday the 27th at 2:45. The church is on the corner of 1200 North and 850 East. To get to the church you take the Lehi Main Street exit and turn East and follow the street through a light and past Lowe's and Walgreens. The street curves (becoming 1200 North instead of Main) and starts going through residential areas. You'll come to a 4 way stop and the church is on the left side. Its really easy to find. Hope ya'll can make it!

Memory Lane Game

This is a slightly altered version of a game that bloggers play. Think of one memory (make it fun, not embarrassing or mean) about everyone in the family and post it up here as your own post. Let's see what things get brought up and how fun it can be to think about all our fun times together. I'm not including grandkids for now....we can do them another time.

Dad - squishing our guts out, riding the bus in first grade so I could read to you all the way home from Alton, Pepsi and Deer hunting, eating fresh french bread all the way home from Cedar, never approving of any of the boys I brought home (really I don't blame you for that!).

Mom - All the fun 4-H projects (especially entimology since no one else ever did that), fresh cinnamon roles and applesauce cake, when you danced like Shirley Temple, how you couldn't run because you might drop your uterus (now I know exactly how you felt!)

Heide - Staying with you when you were a cool college girl and you took me to Wendy's, when you threw up all your swedish fish on the way to Kanab and I knew you were pregnant with Anthony.

Mike - when I was crying because a boy had called me a fat cow and you told me that college boys liked girls with big butts and little waists. Not sure that was true but it still made me feel better.

Gerry J. - Going up to fossil rock every day of every summer, when we pretended we were twins, When you took me for a walk on the day of your wedding so that Tyson could ask Dad if he could marry me.

Jill - Playing the Lord of the Rings trivia game with you and Gerry until late into the night. Lots of great haircuts, thanks!

James - dressing you up like a girl and curling your hair and then you ran outside and put your head under the tap. The day you jumped out the upstairs window.

Brittany - playing phase 10 with you one night and I learned how competitive you are!

Anna - "Mom, Amber hit me with a board!", lots of phone calls about anything from the latest boyfriend, to Erin's earwax., eating ice cream cups at J.V.s

Bucky - when I met you at Lava Hot Springs and new it was only a matter of time before you were part of the family.

Dillon - how you planned out your ranch down to how many bales of hay you would need, and your imaginary friend Pee wee.

Jason - how every time I sat by you you had to put your feet on me cuz you're such a cuddler. The time I had to do the heimlich on you because you were choking on a lifesaver.

Sara - the day you came home from Kindergarten in the rain, put your hand's on your hips and said "Mother, did you KNOW it was raining out there and you didn't come pick me up!!!" (insert serious attitude!) I also was dripping with rain but hadn't said a word.

Amber's Garden

Check it out! I must have learned a little something from mom in all those years of gardening. This is my first bell pepper. Isn't it cute! I also have 26 tomatoes growing and I've picked one summer squash and have 6 more growing. I'm just so proud of myself!

Here's a picture of my other garden...the one I've been growing for 6 years almost. I'm pretty proud of this one too. Remember if you want to see a picture on this blog as a bigger image just double click on it.

Baby Blessing

Hey Ya'll!
Well, won't this just be an exciting way to stay in touch. Now we're all joining the world of bloggers! Just so everyone knows we are blessing Levi in Lehi on the 27th. Church starts at like 2:50, but we are having a BBQ at Bucky's dad's around 12:30. We're dining on steak! Additional details (like the church's address) will be added on here when I find out. We're moving back there on the 26th so its going to be a crazy weekend.

BTW, things are great with us still. Levi had gained over 2 pounds and 2 inches at his 2 week appointment and Erin is still adjusting just fine to being a big sister. She throws a tantrum if she doesn't get to help burp him after he eats. I'll add some updated pics on here tomorrow after I download them from my camera to the computer.

GREAT IDEA

This was a great idea Amber! It will be fun and easy to keep everyone updated on how things are going! Hope you don't mind me adding some color! Well as you all probably know, Sheridyn broke her tooth off over at Grandma and Grandpa Hoyt's about 2 weeks ago. She was playing by the swing set and walked into a swing! None of us could believe that it broke her tooth. So we had to take her to the hospital and have her put under so that they could fix it. It was a pretty traumati c week, I think more for me than for Sheridyn! Anyways, I managed to get this pic of her before it was fixed! I also got some pics of the m playing at the basketball camp.

Dillon

Here's the latest picture that Dillon emailed me in case anyone hasn't seen it. This was taken after one of his recent baptism's. He sure looks skinny! I think mom's gonna have to make lots of cinnamon rolls for when he comes home. I know I'll be there to help, yum!

Mom, I'm glad you took the plunge and did your first post on the blog. It wasn't too hard was it?! I hope you guys have a really good time at Heide's house.

love you all,
Amber

Family Events

Hello family members,

Today was a special day for Gavin. He turned 6 years old. We all celebrated with a swimming party, food, and opening presents. Jill made a darling cake resembling a baseball mitt and ball. We are so proud of Gavin and that he is a part of our family.

Today was also the Hoyt reunion in Alton. Of course there was lots of great food and Uncle Bruce's mutton and dutchoven potatoes. The numbers were down but those us of who went enjoy our visit.

Please try and add to our family blog. It can be fun and entertaining if we all participate. Love to all of you-Mom and Dad

OUR NEW BLOG

Hey everyone - mom was wondering how I did my blog so I went ahead and set one up for her and the family. We should all be able to add stuff. I'll just have to give you the information. So let's try and keep in touch a little better!
